LIMITED WARRANTY

Planet Aquarium warranties this product for 30 days after purchase against defective material, poor workmanship or leaks. This does not include stress fractures caused by insufficient structural support, i.e. unleveled or twisted stands.

If placed on a new matching Tideline Cabinet or metal support stand from Planet Aquarium we will extend the warranty to 5 years! This warranty is for replacement value or repair of the product at the discretion of Planet Aquarium. Any modification of aquarium from its original purchased form will void the warranty, i.e. holes drilled, frames or braces removed etc.

Planet aquarium is not responsible for any damages caused by tank failure.

All claims must be accompanied by Proof of purchase and only apply to the original purchaser of the products.

Canopies (when used with a glass top) and cabinets are guaranteed against structural defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from date of original retail purchase.

WARRANTY TERMS

This warranty provided by Planet Aquariums is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at the sole discretion of Planet Aquariums. Shipping is not included. It is the responsibility of the consumer to return the defective product to the dealer where it was originally purchased, or to the Planet Aquariums facility. This warranty does not cover any other components or other loss such as livestock, aquarium contents, personal injury, property damage, loss of use, or other loss, whether direct, incidental or consequential arising out of the use of the products.

Any modification of the aquarium from its original purchased form or damage will void the warranty, i.e. holes drilled, frames or braces removed, cut or removed silicone, chips, etc. Stress fractures caused by insufficient structural support, such as insufficiently-braced, unleveled, incorrectly shimmed or twisted stands will void warranty. Damage resulting from accident, improper use, abuse, lack of reasonable care, subjecting the product to any abnormal working conditions, other than normal and ordinary use of the product or any other failure not resulting from defects in material or workmanship are not covered by warranty. Planet aquariums is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages caused by tank failure.

For cabinets and canopies, any damages caused by water, improper use, abuse, improper transportation / installation, wear and tear, improper care or modifications are not covered by warranty. Cosmetic flaws/defects and damage caused by water are not covered by warranty.

This warranty does not cover defects not essential to the structural integrity of the products. Any cosmetic defects must be reported in writing within 48 hours of product delivery. If no report is submitted within 48 hours, it implies that the purchaser approves the visual/cosmetic condition of the products. Cosmetic flaws, wear & tear and defects not relating to the structural functionality of the product are not covered by warranty.

Air bubbles in seams – please note that air bubbles can develop in the aquarium seams during the curing process. While we do our best to minimize these, small number air bubbles in the seams are normal and do not affect the structural integrity or the durability of the aquarium.

All claims must be accompanied by Proof of Purchase and only apply to the original purchaser of the products! In the event of an aquarium failure, Planet Aquariums may require an inspection to determine the cause of the failure. This warranty is void if the aquarium and/or stand are moved from their original location before the investigation can be conducted.
