Warranty

Planet Aquariums, OceanVue, Tideline Aquariums, and Tideline Furniture (collectively referred to as "the Manufacturer") warrant their products against defective materials, poor workmanship, or leaks under the following terms. This warranty is expressly limited and subject to the exclusions and limitations set forth herein.

Warranty Coverage

*Registered Warranty: To qualify for an extended warranty, the aquarium must be placed on a matching Tideline Cabinet or metal support stand from the Manufacturer and registered within 30 days of purchase. All Planet, Oceanvue, Tideline Crystaline and AIO Lagoon Aquariums must be placed on a new matching Tideline / Planet Support Stand to qualify for warranty.

Warranty Terms

• This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• Coverage is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the product at the sole discretion of the Manufacturer. Under no circumstances shall the Manufacturer be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages.
• Shipping costs, labor, and any ancillary expenses are the sole responsibility of the consumer.
• The consumer is responsible for returning defective products to the dealer where originally purchased or to the Manufacturer’s facility at their own expense.
• The Manufacturer is not responsible for loss of livestock, aquarium contents, personal injury, property damage, lost profits, loss of use, or any incidental or consequential damages arising from tank failure, regardless of whether such damages arise from breach of warranty, contract, negligence, or other legal theory.
• No implied or verbal warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, will be honored.
• Any modifications or exceptions to this warranty for special purposes will be issued on an individual basis in writing.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Modifications to the original form of the product, including drilled holes, removed frames, braces, or silicone alterations.
• Damage from improper support, including unlevel, twisted, or incorrectly shimmed stands.
• Stress fractures from inadequate structural support.
• Damage due to accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, lack of reasonable care, or abnormal use conditions.
• Water damage, improper transportation/installation, wear and tear, improper care, or modifications to cabinets and canopies.
• Cosmetic defects or air bubbles in seams, which do not affect structural integrity.
• Any defects not essential to the structural integrity of the product. Cosmetic defects must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
• Damage resulting from acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, power surges, or other external causes beyond the control of the Manufacturer.

Claims Process

• All claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and apply only to the original purchaser.
• The Manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the product and determine the validity of any claim under this warranty. The consumer agrees to provide reasonable access for such an inspection.
• In the event of an aquarium failure, the Manufacturer may require an inspection to determine the cause. The warranty is void if the aquarium and/or stand are moved from their original location before an investigation is conducted.
• Any legal action related to this warranty must be filed in the state where the Manufacturer is headquartered and is subject to that jurisdiction’s laws.

By purchasing and using products from Planet Aquariums, OceanVue, Tideline Aquariums, or Tideline Furniture, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the terms and limitations of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
